iRun for Kids (Formerly known as the "Eat and Run"): Each year the Foundation hosts a running event. The running event features a 5K run and walk and this year we added a 10k run. The eat portion of this event followed the run. Funds are generated from corporate sponsorships, meal tickets and participation fees. Net proceeds are used to fund arts and activities grants through the classroom grants program. The iRun for Kids event was on Sunday, September 18, 2011.
